【摘要】:1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationoftheamountsoftheindividualfattyacidsandrosinacidsinfractionatedtalloilproducts,usingcapillarygaschromatographicseparationofthevolatilemethylestersoftheseacids.1.2Fourmethodsforformingthemethylesters,andtwomethodsfordeterminingtheamountsoftheindividualfattyacidsandrosinacidsaredescribed.1.2.1Theclassicmethodfortheformationofmethylestersisthroughtheuseofdiazomethane,butdiazomethaneisahazardousandtoxicmaterial,andsoisnolongerthepreferredreagent.TheuseofdiazomethaneisdetailedintheAppendix.Methylestersmaybeformedthroughtheuseoftetramethylammoniumhydroxide(TMAH),trimethylphenylammoniumhydroxide(TMPAH),orN,N-dimethylformamidedimethylacetal(DMF-DMA).1.2.2Thetwomethodsfordeterminingtheamountoftheindividualfattyacidsandrosinacidsarethe"internalstandard"method,whichyieldsabsolutevalues,andthe"areapercent"method,whichyieldsrelativevalues.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Theuseofthisapparatusisintendedtoinducepropertychangesassociatedwiththeenduseconditions,includingtheeffectsofsunlight,moisture,andheat.Theseexposuresmayincludeameanstointroducemoisturetothetestspecimen.Exposuresarenotintendedtosimulatethedeteriorationcausedbylocalizedweatherphenomena,suchasatmosphericpollution,biologicalattack,andsaltwaterexposure.Alternatively,theexposuremaysimulatetheeffectsofsunlightthroughwindowglass.Typically,theseexposureswouldincludemoistureintheformofhumidity.Cautions8212;RefertoPracticeG151forfullcautionaryguidanceapplicabletoalllaboratoryweatheringdevices.5.2.1Variationinresultsmaybeexpectedwhenoperatingconditionsarevariedwithintheacceptedlimitsofthispractice.Therefore,noreferenceshallbemadetoresultsfromtheuseofthispracticeunlessaccompaniedbyareportdetailingthespecificoperatingconditionsinconformancewithSection10.5.2.2Itisrecommendedthatasimilarmaterialofknownperformance,acontrol,beexposedsimultaneouslywiththetestspecimentoprovideastandardforcomparativepurposes.Itisrecommendedthatatleastthreereplicatesofeachmaterialevaluatedbeexposedineachtesttoallowforstatisticalevaluationofresults.1.1Thispracticecoversthebasicprinciplesandoperatingproceduresforusingenclosedcarbon-arclightandwaterapparatusintendedtoreproducetheweatheringeffectsthatoccurwhenmaterialsareexposedtosunlight(eitherdirectorthroughwindowglass)andmoistureasrainordewinactualuse.Thispracticeislimitedtotheproceduresforobtaining,measuring,andcontrollingconditionsofexposure.Anumberofexposureproceduresarelistedinanappendix;however,thispracticedoesnotspecifytheexposureconditionsbestsuitedforthematerialtobetested.Note1PracticeG151describesperformancecriteriaforallexposuredevicesthatuselaboratorylightsources.ThispracticereplacesPracticeG23,whichdescribesveryspecificdesignsfordevicesusedforcarbon-arcexposures.TheapparatusdescribedinPracticeG23iscoveredbythispractice.1.2Testspecimensareexposedtoenclosedcarbonarclightundercontrolledenvironmentalconditions.1.3Specimenpreparationandevaluationoftheresultsarecoveredinvariousmethodsorspecificationsforspecificmaterials.GeneralguidanceisgiveninPracticeG151andISO4892-1.MorespecificinformationaboutmethodsfordeterminingthechangeinpropertiesafterexposureandreportingtheseresultsisdescribedinISO4582.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.5.1Shouldanyozonebegeneratedfromtheoperationofthelightsource,itshallbecarriedawayfromthetestspecimensandoperatingpersonnelbyanexhaustsystem.
