【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversunpigmented,unsupported,sheetortubular,medium-densitypolyethylenefilms(here-afterreferredtoasfilmorfilms)fromresinshavingdensitiesintherangefrom926.0to938.0kg/m179;(0.926to0.938g/cm179;),inclusive,asmeasuredonmoldedplaques.1.2Thisspecificationisapplicabletohomopolymerpolyethylenebutisnotrestrictedtoit.1.3Thisspecificationisalsoapplicabletofilmsmadefromcopolymerpolyethylenecommonlyreferredtoinindustryaslow-pressurepolyethylene.1.4Thisspecificationisalsoapplicabletofilmsmadefromblendsofhomopolymersandcopolymers,includingethylene/vinyl-acetatecopolymers.1.5Thisspecificationallowsfortheuseofrecycledpolyethylenefilmorresinasfeedstock,inwholeorinpart,aslongasalltherequirementsofthisspecificationaremetandaslongasanyspecificrequirementsasgovernedbytheproducerandenduserarealsomet(seeNote1).Note18212;GuideD5033containsterminologyanddefinitionsrelatingtorecycledplastics.1.6Specialcaremustbeexercisedifthisspecificationisappliedtocoloredorpigmentedfilms.Thisspecificationdoesnotaddressspecificproblemsassociatedwithcoloring,suchas,quantityandqualityofpigmentdispersion,opticalproperties,andincreaseindensity.Theseandotherareasmustbetakenintoaccountbymutualagreementbetweenthesupplierandthepurchaser.1.7Thethicknessofthefilmscoveredbythisspecificationrangefrom25to100m[0.001to0.004in.],inclusive.Themaximumwidthofthesheetorlay-flatis3.05m[120in.].1.8Thisspecificationdoesnotcoverorientedheat-shrinkablefilms.1.9Thisspecificationdefinesthelevelsofvariousphysicalpropertiesfromwhichspecificationsforspecificfilmsaretobedescribed.ThelevelsofphysicalpropertiesrequiredbyafilmforagivenapplicationareselectedfromSectionandthecorrespondingtables.However,Sections7.2-7.5relatingtotolerancesshallapplywithoutchangetoallfilmfallingwithinthescopeindicatedbythetitleand1.1-1.4.1.10Thisspecificationcoversdimensionaltolerances,classification,intrinsicqualityrequirements,andtestmethods.Thedimensionaltolerancesincludethickness,width,andlengthoryield.Classificationdefinestypes,classes,surfaces,andfinishes.Theintrinsicqualityrequirementsincludedensity,workmanship,impactstrength,tensilestrength,heatsealability,andodor,aswellastheclassificationpropertiesforstiffness,coefficientoffriction,opticalproperties,andsurfacetreatment.Asamplingmethodisincluded.1.11ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesinbracketsaregivenforinformationonly.1.12Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section10,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note28212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.
