【摘要】:1ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthefunc-tional,performanceandsafetyrequirementsforself-propelledpassengerboardingstairsintendedforaccesstothecabinofallaircrafttypescommonlyinserviceininternationalcivilairtransportwithacabindoorsillheightequaltoorexceeding2,54m(100in)overtheground.2TheintentofthisInternationalStandardisnottospecityequipmentdesign,butrathertodefineminimumfunctionalandperformancerequirementsandhighlightthosecriteriawhicharerecognizedasessentialintheenvironmentofinternationalairportsbyaircraftandvehiclemanufacturersaswellasair-linesandhandlingagencies.3ThisInternationalStandardshallbeappliedwithduereferencetonationalgovernmentalregulationsofthecountrywherethevehicleistobeoperated.Themainthoughnotexclusiveareasinwhichsuchnationalregulationsmayapplyare:—regulationsconcerningequipmentforusebythepublic;—stabilityandothersafetyrequirementsapplicabletoelevatingequipment.
